Built on trust
Straight answers about your data — what we collect, why we collect it, and the commitments we hold ourselves to. No jargon, no fine-print surprises.
Your data stays yours
We collect what we need to run the platform and personalize your experience — and nothing more. You can access, correct, or request deletion of your information at any time.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell your personal information. Details are set out in our Privacy Policy, and this commitment applies to everyone who uses the platform.
You stay in control
Sharing your verified skills with organizations is opt-in. You choose what is shared, and you can opt out at any time.
Every piece of data has a reason
Account details
Your name and email let you sign in and let us reach you about your account.
Profile and interests
Optional details help personalize your pathways and recommendations.
Practice activity
What you practice and how you progress lets the experience adapt to you and lets us show your growth over time.
Interactions with Spiral
Your conversations with our AI guide let it give useful feedback and personalize what comes next.
Usage and device information
Basic technical data helps us keep the platform secure, reliable, and improving.
Payment information
Processed securely by our payment provider so we can manage subscriptions. We do not store full card numbers ourselves.
Behind the scenes, Spiral keeps its internal workings private — you see your outcomes and progress, not raw internal numbers.
Younger learners
Extra care, by design.
The platform is used by learners of different ages, including youth. For younger users we take extra steps: an age check at sign-up and, for children under 13, we require verifiable parental consent before an account is active, in keeping with our approach to children's privacy under laws such as COPPA.
For younger learners we limit data collection to what the experience genuinely needs. Parents and guardians can contact us to review, update, or delete their child's information.
Full details live in our Privacy Policy. If anything here and the Privacy Policy ever differ, the Privacy Policy governs.
What we hold ourselves to
These are commitments and current practices — described plainly, without claiming certifications we do not hold.
Security practices
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and ongoing security review to protect your information.
Data minimization
We aim to collect only what a feature needs, and to keep it only as long as we need it.
Transparency
We tell you what we collect and why, and we keep this page and our Privacy Policy current.
Your rights, honored
Access, correction, deletion, and opt-out requests are part of how we operate — including for California residents under the CCPA.
We do not currently claim third-party certifications or audit badges on this page. If that changes, we will say so here with the specifics. For formal or organizational compliance questions, please reach out.
